5/13/83 is one of my all time favorite shows that I attended. They played just about every song with a different vibe than the rest of '83. The raven cawing and diablical laughter at the end of the drums gets the crowd to crack up. They jammed so long that night that they didn't do an encore as they had already passed the UC Berkeley late night curfew...I wish they had skipped the encores more often.
The AUD recording is extremely good, there is a SBD source but like most early 80's SBDs Jerry is way down in the mix.

I remember 10/29/77 being slow for 1977, but thats not saying much. It's always been my favorite from that year.

Ditto--and it's only "slow" in tempo, in that it takes its time to build up to what intense and spectacular jamming of a "best of" variety.

slowest ones are in the 90s...check out 03-29-90, 13-31-90 for versions with the saxamaphone...03-31-1991 and 06-17-1991 are outstanding as well...last really nice slow version is likely 05-21-1995...
if you don't like the 90s 06-18-1974 is your best best...not really slow per say...

Another "don't miss" slow version. Over 20 minutes of mellow but very inventive jamming with exceptional contributions from Hornsby, who adds a salsa feel at points in the jam:
